HEFFRON RACING

Again there were more STEAM members racing for the first time at Heffron park on Saturday .This week we had Simon Alford & John Chuo hitting the race track for the first time & they did it in fine style with John Chuo winding up for a fantastic sprint finish & winning comfortably - Simon Alford just scraped in for second placeFantastic result for both of you.   All that criterium training made the racing seem easy - hey guys!!   Keith White made his second appearance & out foxed a good field to win also with sprinting style.

Grades A/B  were combined & the average speed was 40.5k for the whole race Daniele Vanolini & Ben Howard were the only STEAM members there this week & worked well together. Ben kept the speed high for the final stages of the race & Daniele just had to position himself well for the final sprint & placed third out right & first B grader.   Good team effort thereAgain fantastic result for everyone & lets keep the STEAM colours out there.
