MS Fun Run
Just letting you know that I completed the MS Fun
Run yesterday & it wasn’t all fun! The course may have only been 8km
but it was certainly tough. The course was either up or down hill (mostly
UP) and I knew I was in strife when I reached the 3km mark & couldn’t
believe I wasn’t even half way!
Seriously though, it was a fantastic morning to be
running the shores of Sydney Harbor and down some paths I haven’t ventured along
before. It was also great to see so many people out enjoying the morning
and participating in the run - I believe some keen people dashed back over the
Harbor Bridge to participate in the 9km or 16km walk.
It would be great if you could finalize your
sponsorship donations and send them to me at 31 Pine St, Newtown NSW 2042.
I am very heartened by the support that has been shown so far to the MS Society
and hope that we can make an impact on the lives of those who suffer from
MS.
Thanks once again.
Cheers, Melissa

Hawaii in October
If you haven’t
organized your travel arrangements and accommodation for either the Hawaii
Ironman or the Age Group World Championships, now is the time. I am
associated up with a sports travel company – Sport Link International -
www.slisports.com that is run by
a friend of mine Paul Kelly. PK has been organizing tours to
sporting events for several years including the Athens Olympics, Cricket,
Rugby and Hockey World Cups. PK has a love for
triathlon after having competed in a few and is combining his love for the sport
with his experience in sports tours to conduct a triathlon tour to the Age Group
World Champs in Honolulu &/or the Hawaii Ironman. I of course will be
participating in the Ironman tour but would like to encourage as many of my
friends to join me in an experience of a lifetime – whether in Honolulu, Kona or
both.
