Mawson trail

In the second half of April, Bike South Australia is running a fully supported “outback bike odyssey” into the Flinders Ranges. 

Three options are available; 

  1. The Full Mawson trail, 900 kms over 14 days from Adelaide to Blinman (mountain bikes or hybrids)
  2. The Mini Mawson trail, 600 kms over 10 days from Burra to Blinman (mountain bikes or hybrids); and
  3. The Woolshed Ramble, 500 kms over 10 days from Burra to Blinman on sealed roads (any bike).

Entries Open - The Herald Duathlon Selection Race

Entries are now open for The Herald Duathlon Selection Race on Sunday 24th April (Anzac Day long weekend).  This will be a big race for age groupers and elites over a 10km run, 40km bike and final 5km run.  This is the all important second World Championships Qualifier for the Australian team, and your chance to get valuable racing experience over the course. 

All competitors must be current members of Triathlon Australia or their national federation (with personal accident insurance coverage).  Entry is AUD$75.00 including GST.

Online entries, course maps + race information are available at www.worldduathlon2005.com/inside-sr-entry.html, and you can also download an entry form.  Entries close Friday 8th April.

If your national federation hasn't booked your team accommodation, we suggest you do this now!  The organising committe has pre-booked a wide range of team accommodation at group discounts.  These venues will shortly be released back to the general market unless bookings are confirmed. 
Venues range from 3 star to 5 star accommodation, and include the Quest Apartments, Executive Inn, Quality Hotel Apollo International, Best Western Madison Motor Inn, and Best Western Motor Village.
