Weekend rides

Sat

If you would like a ride on Sat, you are welcome to join the group going to Gerroa leaving from the York Road gates at 6:30am.  We will be going via Waterfall and Bulli on the old Highway so up to individuals as to where they turn – or 160kms to Gerroa and back on the train !

There will be a ride leaving coffee van in the park at 6:30am for Port Botany with Alex Hamill’s group.

Sun

No official ride planned however Alex Hamill and co will be riding to Bulli via Waterfall leaving at 6:15am from the coffee van.

 

4:30pm Wetsuit swim at Manly dam also with Alex.

 

Racing planning dinner

There will be a dinner on Friday 18th Feb at the Woodfire Pizza restaurant in Double Bay from 6:30pm to discuss racing calendars and plan training around races that people want to do.   At this stage, the interest has been predominantly around cycle racing.  So if you are interested in finding out who’s doing what and when … or just come along and let us know what you are doing so we have a big picture view of what club members are up to.  Where possible, we can factor this information into the training schedules.

Women and Girls Triathlon

Females in Training, the Canberra based female triathlon club, extends an invitation to the female members of your triathlon clubs, to compete in this year's Women and Girls Triathlon, to be held on the 27 Feb, 2005. There are 3 courses of different lengths that can be raced by individuals or teams (junior and open teams). Trophies will be awarded to all placegetters in both individual and team categories. There will be a free breakfast and massage for competitors. There will be lots of barrel draw prizes, including the opportunity for a lucky competitor to win a new bike! The event is sanctioned by Triathlon ACT. The entry form is attached. Entries can be also be submitted online at https://dnsserver3.net/trend-ssl/register.aspx
