Coonabarabran to Gunnedah - Keegan Downes Handicap,
105 km
Congratulations to
the STEAM athletes who raced on the weekend , Julie & Michael Avakian,
Kate Everett, Julie Howard and Breeda Kelly.
Ironman Charity
Congratulations to James Fenner who did Ironman Australia for
charity. The final amount raised (including the government
contribution) was $41,000 for an HIV/Aids project in Malawi.
Sat & Sun Training
Team Time Trail Training will be on
again on Saturday the 17th meeting at the caravan 6.45am sharp!.We will be
riding out to the container terminal & then selecting people for team's of 4
for a a 20km TT.Total ride distance 45-50km's & back to park by
9.30am.
Sunday ride will be meeting at Caravan
6.30am then riding to waterfall ,then we decend down waterfall hill &
regroup at the bottom of climb.Once at the base of the climb teams will be
selected & sent off for a TT though the park up Audley hill ,there will be no time's
taken.
STEAM Dinner at Cellini's - all welcome
25 OF JULY 6.30pm
Price for 5 courses will
be $30. Grappa and lucky door prizes
provided.
The dinner is for all STEAM members &
partners/friends to attend. It's about
meeting our host Carlo from Cellini's & meeting new & old members from
STEAM. Also it's a chance to see other
STEAM member's in action in italy. So come along & have some fun, taste a bit of Italy & see your fellow
STEAM members in casual clothing. 6.30pm on the Sunday the 25th July.
